Printer Locks
thingiverse
These simple locks keep all moving parts secure on my printer, giving me peace of mind as I transport it to different locations without worrying about the gantry moving, the printhead slamming down, the bed sliding around, or anything getting out of alignment. Designed specifically for my Tevo Tornado, this design should work seamlessly with other printers based on the same model, such as the Ender series. I use M5 T-Nuts (10) and M5x16mm Pan Head Screws (10) to secure everything in place. The holes are made slightly larger, allowing for the use of M6 sets if needed. If anyone requires M8, I'm happy to provide that information! For my printer, I need four square locks with a single screw each, installed on both sides - one top and one bottom. The printhead requires two more square locks, one on each side. The bed needs two tower locks with two screws each, positioned in front and back. These tower locks feature a groove at the bottom to prevent belt pinching. All locks can be stored on the printer frame when not in use. I store mine on top of the gantry, but you could also place them on the side of the bottom frame.
