Printer Hook for Wallace M8 and Feet.
thingiverse
When using my Wallace 8mm version, I observed that the motors were oscillating up and down. To resolve this issue, I designed a pair of feet to support the outer edges of the motors. After creating these feet, I realized that they provided an ideal spot for attaching my favorite spool hook. If you already have a preferred spooling option, simply print two Motor Feet and two MSpacers. To attach the motor, slide the Foot over the end of the motor and secure it using two M3 10mm screws and washers on one MSpacer. For those who want to integrate the hook, print a Hook Foot, Hook Top, and two MSpacers. Assemble as mentioned earlier, attaching the Hook Top to the Hook Foot. Ensure that the Hook is placed on the X-idler end for optimal performance. Enjoy your improved Wallace 8mm version! Note: While this hook can support all spools from previous designs, it may lean over when holding a 2kg roll; 1.5kg or less should pose no problems.
