Printer Enclosure
thingiverse
This is a concept I've been exploring for a budget-friendly 3D printer enclosure, an absolute must-have for printing ABS while preventing PLA curling in winter. A two-tier greenhouse design seems like the perfect solution. The top tier isn't intended as a shelf but can be repurposed to store filament reels due to identical side fittings, as long as temperatures stay below 50°C. I've also modified the second shelf to accommodate feeder filament. Depth is the only constraint at standard 49cm. A mini thermometer inside would be a good idea since the heatbreak still needs cooling. I've included an .stl file for support legs in case the table is too narrow or if the enclosure starts sliding on the surface. There's also an .stl file for a 12v 120mm fan duct and mounting for 12v DM-W3001, allowing for temperature control with additional .stl files that improve grip to the frame using supports.
With this file you will be able to print Printer Enclosure with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Printer Enclosure.
