Printer Enclosure Door Magnet Mount
thingiverse
I needed something to keep the door of my IKEA Lack Printer Enclosure closed, so I made this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1920010. I took the advice of the author of that enclosure and used 6mm twin-wall poly-carbonate for the walls, which helped keep everything together. The front door didn't always want to stay closed, and I needed something more to keep the cats out. I had a bunch of these 25mm X-BET magnets laying around: http://a.co/3MEjAsl. So, I made this to hold them and added right angle screw holes so I could secure them to the LACK tables. It doubles as an inside stop for the door, which is really convenient. I used a drill to remove some of the inner walls in the corner of the poly-carbonate and slipped the magnet in between, which created a perfect friction fit that keeps it there.
