Printer electronic and psu enclosure
thingiverse
This is a protective housing for electronic printer components. It encloses a Smoothieboard, which will also accommodate RAMPS boards, a voltage regulator, a Raspberry Pi, and a high-resolution LCD touch screen display (TFT32). The enclosure also features a cooling fan that can be installed to keep the electronics cool, but it may not be necessary in some cases since my power supply unit already has an integrated fan. The sides, top, and bottom of the enclosure are precision-cut from 1.5mm fiberglass using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology. If you don't have access to a CNC machine, you can use the provided STL files to print them out, but keep in mind that this will require a large 3D printer with a build volume of at least 33.3cm. To assemble the enclosure, you'll need M3x8 or M3x6 screws, which fit snugly into PLA material without requiring nuts.
