Update: I've changed the Y-carriage so that you can also use it with 3 bearings (added bearing holes in the center). I've also uploaded long arms so you can fit a 300x200 heated bed. However, they don't fit on a 200x200 bed, sorry! My first published thing! Because I was unable to find the frames for my i3 Rework, I cut my y-carriage out of checkerplate. Needless to say this wasn't very succesfull as the bearings where not aligned very well. I also had too short rods for the y-carriage I had a build size of 200x160mm. This made me to search for a y-carriage made from printed parts. I found some but they only fitted on a 200x200 print bed. So I've decided to create my own. The biggest part is 194x100mm and it will fit with a skirt distance of 1mm. The belt held tight by two parts that need to be screwed on the y-carriage. Uses a total of 12 m3 screws and nuts, not including the ones for mounting the heated bed. 8x m3x30 screws for mounting all the parts 4x m3x20 screws for mounting the belt. This design uses four i3 alu bearing holders by richard_j_m. I intend to integrate the bearing holders into the carriage to reduce the height. I also want to make attaching the belt easier. Instructions Print four bearing holders, one y-carriage, two belt latches, two regular arms, and two mirrored arms. The carriage stacks on the bearing holder and the arms stack on the carriage, facing outwards.
