This is a printable tube for use with this filament box:\nFilament Storage Solution (IKEA SAMLA)http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:743280\nTube is 314mm long, 50mm wide.\nStandard size reels with holes of at least 50mm are perfectly suited for it.\nUsing a darker color for printing is highly recommended as the reels tend to shed black plastic on lighter surfaces.\nThe socket can be customized for a 50mm tube and printed.\nPrint both parts - it will take quite a few hours!\nAssemble the entire system by using a dark-colored filament, which makes it easier to assemble.\nThe M6 parts are pre-customized sockets and screws that you can use to make the entire assembly 3D printed from start to finish.\nUpdates:\n14 Dec 2016: Both parts have been greatly modified for better fitting to solve the problems with the first version. Tested, next update will make the tube hollow for faster printing and better filament efficiency.\n21 Dec 2016: New Version 3! More gaps are added to accommodate printer inaccuracies and structural alterations to make it print better.
