Printed truck V2: Front axle

Printed truck V2: Front axle

thingiverse

After months of intense work on redesigning this truck from the ground up to make everything function better, this is the first part that has finally been completed. The front axle for the new RC truck, 'Printed truck V2,' has been carefully crafted and assembled to provide superior flexibility and steering capabilities compared to its outdated counterpart. It should also prove to be more durable in the long run. To assemble this component, you will need: Four M3x10 screws for the 4-link setup (the length of which depends on the rod ends being used) Four M4x10 screws for the wheel hubs Two M4x10 screws for the servo mount Three M3x16 screws for the steering bar and servo linkage Two M5x30 screws for the wheel hubs For detailed assembly instructions, you can refer to my YouTube video, available at http://www.youtube.com/c/MrCrankyfaceProjects. I will be uploading additional V2 parts as soon as they are completed. Stay tuned for more exciting updates! Updated 2016-06-30: A new addition to the collection is the Beamaxle_servo_std, which features a larger hole designed to accommodate most standard servos. You can find suitable rims at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1412131 and high-quality tires at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1408635.
