Printed truck: Tyres
thingiverse
A collection of tyres designed for printing with ninjaflex or similar soft filament is available. Each tyre has a distinct tread pattern - the rears are aggressive while the fronts remain relatively smooth. Moreover, different levels of stiffness can be achieved for each tyre. The tyres should fit Tamiya 1:14 scale rims as well as the ones uploaded for the printed truck. If duals are running on the rear and singles up front, soft tyres are recommended for the rears while medium is best suited for the fronts. This type of tyre can be seen in my project video for this truck at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr9fuMH2_O4. The uploaded tyres have been slightly updated to flex better and more evenly. On 2016-07-12, solid tyre models were added with their strength adjustable by changing infill percentage and infill width. You may need to adjust your extrusion width to get these perfect as they have a fair amount of 'thin walls'.
