Human: tackling the tensioner problem for E-Nable hands and arms. This design is optimized for 0.5mm Spectra 70LB fishing wire. Printed in PLA with a layer height of 0.15mm on the cold end, as it's the best material for this project so far. The concept involves tying a knot in the cable and slipping it onto the cog/winder. Remove any excess cable by cutting it off. Next, slide the cog into place, ensuring that the back curves against the block. Insert the cog/winder through the slot, allowing the cable to wind freely as much as desired (I personally do this manually or with a small screwdriver). Push forward on the slider until the tooth clicks into a slot on the cog, securing it in place. I've tested the tension and found that while it works with some force initially, it tends to loosen over time due to the initial layer's thickness. Feedback is welcome; I'm about to assemble this onto an E-Nable hand for real-world testing.
