Printed Spinner Bearing and Weights

Printed Spinner Bearing and Weights

There are many fidget spinners available, but I have not yet found several 608 bearing alternatives for those like me who prefer an all-3D-printed route. This 608 size bearing has a 3D printable design that functions better than attempting to create a ball bearing version. It spins quite well (https://youtu.be/I2v80PHl3BM) and may perform even better with some lubricant applied. In addition, I have designed and printed some 608 bearing size holders for weights: one holds four US dimes and the other holds four US pennies. Print the part twice, and they should clip together securely and fit snugly into any spinner designed to accept a 608 size bearing. There are plain versions as well as sets with lightning bolts. For the bolted ones, you need both the "bolted" part and the "bolt" part for each to print in multicolor (I used a Palette for the one shown). You could also just print the "bolted" part, and it would show through to the coins. It might look cool too, but I have not tried. The two fidgets shown are this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2275352 and this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2078189, which were each printed on a Formlab Form 2 printer in Tough V3 resin for added durability. Enjoy!
