Printed Solid Enclosure - Exhaust Fan with Filter

<p>This is a low cost alternative for an exhaust fan for the Printed Solid Enclosure - Prusa MK3s box.</p> <p>This makes use of an off-the-shelf HEPA filter and 50mm fan.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I recommend using <strong>PETG or ABS</strong> type materials for printing these parts as it can get quite warm in side the enclosure which could cause PLA parts to warp or deform.</p> <p>No supports are needed.<br/> Recommend you use the perimeter and brims settings in the 3MF files.<br/> Print 1 copy of each part.</p> <p><strong>The filter is (was) available on Amazon here:</strong><br/> <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00328IAO0">https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00328IAO0</a><br/> Mfr: 3M P100 Particulate Filter For 5000, 6000, 6500, 7000 And FF-4 (110cm diameter)</p> <p><strong>Fan on Amazon</strong><br/> <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q1X29J9">https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q1X29J9</a><br/> I used a 5v 50x50x10mm fan. You might want to look at 12V fan with a bit more CFM power.</p> <p>You will need M3x18 (or 20mm long) screws with hex nuts to mount the fan assembly to the enclosure. This makes use of the semi-precut hole provided by PrintedSolid on their enclosure.</p>
