Printed & Laser Cut Enclosure for Prusa i3 mk3
thingiverse
A 3d printed and laser-cut enclosure I drew up for my Prusa i3 mk3s. Fairly certain it will work fine for the older i3 models as well. The laser cut pieces are meant to be done with a material that is 0.25in thick (6.3mm) and all the holes are drawn in 5.4mm diameter so they can use M5 hardware or #10 hardware if you are in America. The Handle has a slot for an M5 nut to slide in, but for imperial hardware I had to use a #6 nut in the slot and a #6 bolt with a washer on the head. The hinges are 3d printable and I also utilize a M5/#10 bolt through both parts of the hinge to assemble it.
