Printed hole cleaner/file

Create a makeshift screwdriver with an 8mm threaded rod, approximately 7 inches long. Grind one end into a semi-pointed tip (not sharp). Using a Dremel, cut lines into the cone along the length of the threading, about 5mm deep. Secure a nut to the unground end and slide it through a handle. Attach a washer and nut onto the threaded rod, tightening it securely to prevent movement. This tool is ideal for enlarging holes in printed bearings and parts that don't fit standard rods when assembling a RepRap printer. Simply screw it in, allowing it to cut into the plastic and create space for the screw rod. Once clean, use the threaded rod as a file to perfect the hole size for smooth sliding. Regular use may result in a rough appearance; simply adjust the nuts as needed for cleaning printed PLA parts.
