Printed Flight Triple (Tricopter)

More Details at BCFPV http://www.bcfpv.com/printed-flight-triple/ Here is my Tricopter frame used to film the following short http://www.bcfpv.com/shoots/ This is a super simple print that makes a very light and surprisingly strong frame which folds. I recommend attaching motor mounts with simple zipties as well as the landing gear. This will give you your weak point and in case of a crash, it will give way. I have been flying this for over a year now and I'm still on my first frame and motor mounts! The design was inspired by the Windestål and Batbone frames. Instructions: Print all parts with 20% honeycomb infill. You'll need three millimeters' bolts. Eight of them, twenty-five millimeters long. Four, twenty-seven millimeters long. Twelve three-millimeter nylon locking nuts. Three twelve-inch or three hundred-millimeter wood booms thirteen millimeters thick. Also needed: two one-point-five-millimeter wires for the camera tray. Zip ties and assorted Velcro, depending on your setup. A ten-millimeter version is included. To print for ten-millimeter booms, just print the parts listed for that size: two motor mounts, a yaw mount, and the bottom part of the frame.
