This printed flexible beam coupling is designed for Prusa Mendel style Z axis, similar to that used in an eMAKER Huxley RepRap 3D printer. The STL file accommodates a 5mm diameter motor shaft (NEMA14 or 17) and M4 threaded rod. To use with other shaft sizes, edit the scad file and export as STL. Secure the motor shaft using an M3 grub screw with a flat. For optimal printing, produce 4 at a time to allow previous layers to cool before laying down the next one.
