Printed Dymaxion Map

<p>I created a printed version of <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1871829">Gav's Dymaxion map</a>. I used <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2497223">PandaCNC's illustrator file</a> to convert the lasercut drawing to 3D printed version.<br/> I cleaned up the file a bit, and created a color change triangles.</p> <p>Color change:<br/> 0mm - 1mm : base (ocean)<br/> 1mm - 2mm: continents<br/> 2mm - 2.4mm: grid<br/> 2.4mm - 2.8mm: Prime meridian (Greenwich) and Equator</p> <p>I use for base glow in the dark (blue), bronze (continents), black (grid), gold (equator)</p> <p>You need the inserts from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1871829">Gav's Dymaxion map</a>, and 60 M3x10mm screws.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: Math Art Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong> Prusa</p> <p><strong>Printer:</strong> <a href="http://amzn.to/2rqZ6Uo">i3 MK3</a></p> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong> 0.2</p> <p><strong>Infill:</strong> 15%</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> bq, ??? pla Brnse, glow in dark, black, gold</p>
