Printed case for IGNAS Nixie Clock

Printed case for IGNAS Nixie Clock

Having bought an IGNAS Nixie Clock kit on eBay, I devised a printable case to enclose the PCB and securely contain the high voltage. This design is versatile, suitable for various Nixie Clock configurations as well. The OpenSCAD source code allows customization. The 'nixiecaseall.stl' file comprises all components needed for assembly. Print this single plate on a Prusa Mendel or similar 3D printer using PLA, ABS, or other materials. If opting for ABS, note that it shrinks significantly; thus, scaling the model may be necessary to ensure proper fit and accurate alignment with switches and Nixie tubes. Assemble by inserting a 25mm M3 screw through each foot's bottom, PCB, top case part, and finally securing with an M3 nut and washer on each screw. This method connects the top and bottom case sections together.
