This is a mount for a standard 1/2" nylon wire gland from Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y5HGYK2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that securely holds a 4mm PFTE tube in place, preventing movement. It utilizes four M2x5mm screws to attach the inside plate to the outside block. The purpose is two-fold: (1) to create a dry path all the way to the print head and (2) prevent motion of the Bowden tube that can cause filament to wrap around the spindle. This design is particularly useful for hygroscopic filaments like Nylon and PETG. Update: additional styles have been added, including 10mm and 6mm push-in type connectors. While untested, they are available for use at your own risk. Update 2: a new style with a 10x1mm thread has also been added. If you can confirm the actual thread size on the push-in connector, please let me know if this design works effectively.
