Printable Wasp Trap

A colleague inquired about printing a wasp trap with my RepStrap, to which I confidently responded affirmatively. After conducting some research, I chose a design that would be most suitable for 3D printing. This two-part trap allows for easy cleaning and resetting by simply removing the dead wasps. For optimal visibility, print it using clear or translucent PLA. However, ensure the wasps are deceased before emptying to avoid releasing angry swarmers. To assemble, first print both trap parts. Next, soak a cotton ball in fruit juice or soda. Then, join the base and lid by twisting them together. Finally, thread a string through the top hole and hang the trap for effective wasp trapping.
