Here's something I printed two years ago, and it still works great. If you keep printing big parts, you'll probably need to get a spool holder for large rolls weighing 2.2 kg or more. The only thing that stopped me from getting one was finding a solution for the RFID reader. Now I've got an extra cable, and I've extended the setup so all I have to do is hold the original spool close to the reader. This makes installation much easier since it accelerates the process significantly. Although the small parts holding together part 4a and 4b came loose over time, I decided to let them go. However, you can still glue them together if you want, and they'll stay in place forever. You also need to be careful with the material you choose. I printed mine using XT-CF20 filament, which requires a special nozzle. But it's good to use once you tweak your printer settings right. There's a good explanation on the website where you can buy the filament. Another thing is that you need to "chop off" the feet of part 4a. I installed those "cookies" to level the print so my printer wouldn't use excessive support material to ensure evenness. In the photo section, you'll find a picture of my spool holder in action. The last thing you need to consider is the weight of the new spools. If you've successfully installed the new spool holder and want to load it with two big rolls, make sure your printer is securely fixed to the ground because that will eventually exceed the weight limit of the printer, causing it to fall backwards. I solved this by attaching a wood grip to the front of my printer.
