The printable extruder plate for the Ultimaker addresses Jelle's 4-extruder design issue, which cannot be laser-cut at local hackspaces using 6mm plywood. This solution accommodates a second extruder and is slightly wider than laser-cut plates to fit printed ones. It sits on the far right bearing cap and requires drilling two holes in the Ultimaker's back panel. Fasten it with four 20mm x 3mm screws, two nuts, and two washers. For printing, use Cura settings of 0.2 layers, 0.6 wall & top/bottom thickness, and preferably 30% hexagonal IMPLA from Diamond Age or 60% for better quality.
