There seems to be a plenty of z-axis mounts available for standard Prusa i3 frames, but very few (if any) that replace the original laser-cut parts. When I forced the first M3 nut into one of the plexiglass servo brackets, the whole corner of the bracket snapped off instantly. I glued it with CA glue to fix it and filed the hole before trying again. Patience does not come cheap. So... Here is a set of the 'missing' printable frame components for 6mm thick laser-cut frames. These work perfectly on my plexiglass FolgerTech i3 frame, and should also work on others, as well as aluminum and wooden frames. Instructions I printed these parts solid (100% fill) As with most printed pieces, you may need to trim, file or drill the holes to fit your hardware perfectly. If you are printing left and right pieces, I recommend flipping them before printing to maintain the same top surface textures.
