Printable LM6UU-sized PLA bushing
thingiverse
This printable linear bushing is a revised version of Triffid Hunter's LM8UU, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13631, now tailored to match standard LM6UU specifications. Key features include a 60-degree opening and compatibility with a 12-module plate. It is currently being tested for use in Whosawhatsis RepRap Wallace (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14208). The original design had an undersized OD of 10.8mm, which caused a loose fit; however, this issue has been addressed by wrapping the bushings in paper and pushing them along a ground 6mm bar for better grip. Additionally, an open-slot option is available for potential use in a pillow block or as part of a scanner bed. Triffid Hunter's updated LM8UU version with controlled perimeter thread width and hollow inner space for added springiness can also be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16813. To obtain an LM6UU-sized bushing using Triffid's v3 parametric code, use the provided parameters in the link.
