This printable linear slide rail is compatible with Pandelume's Unicorn Pen Plotter available on Thingiverse. The smooth surfaces of objects printed on heated build platforms ensure easy sliding without snags. Print the rail bottom, sides, and slide using a MK5 plastruder and heated platform with stock MakerBot unsanded kapton. Assemble by gluing the sides to the rail bottom, then affixing the rail and slide to the Unicorn. Secure the rail with glue to prevent rotation due to its thickness compared to metal versions. Adjust servo mount or hinge parts if necessary for proper fitment. Tested sliding smoothly by hand but without a servo installed. STL and SolidWorks 2010 model files are provided.
