Each piece is different, and while it's tough, you can solve it using just logical reasoning. You'll need at least 11 moves to remove the first piece, followed by another 5 before the second piece comes loose (no rotations required!). This puzzle marks my first paid design, not available on Thingiverse. I hope you give it a shot! This is part of my series of interlocking mechanical puzzles that print easily on FDM printers with no support needed - Printable Puzzle #4. Designed using Live Cubes and Burr Tools, it's simple to print and will assemble into a 5 cm cube. For the best results, I recommend printing at 0.15 mm resolution or finer, with 6 layers top and bottom, 2 perimeters, and 20% infill. I've combined the six pieces into one STL file, but you can easily separate them in Simplify3D (using Mesh / Separate Connected Surfaces) or Meshmixer (using Edit / Separate Shells) if you want to print each piece a different color. There's a 1 mm bevel on the outer edges of the 10 mm cubes, except for the concave corners, which work better without it. You have three offset options - 0.06 mm, 0.08 mm, and 0.10 mm. The offset controls how tightly or loosely the puzzle fits together. I recommend starting with the middle value, 0.08 mm, and adjusting from there. If the puzzle is too tight, increase the offset to 0.10 mm. If it's too loose, use the 0.06 mm setting. The download package includes a text file that can be loaded into Burr Tools (free to download) and used to show the solution to the puzzle. To do this, start by downloading and running Burr Tools, then click File / Load, change the File Types selector to 'All Files', and select the Printable_555_11.txt file included with this puzzle download. Next, click Solver - Disassemble - Start. You can then rotate the puzzle, zoom in using the right-hand edge scroll handle, or animate the solution by clicking and dragging the Move slider.
