thingiverse
Human: Versatile idler that attaches to the end of a 2020 v-rail, suitable for both 2020 and 2040 rails when placed strategically. This adaptable idler also fits on the 2040 rail if the belt passes through its central section. It features "legs" designed to fit snugly into t-nut slots, secured firmly with an M5x10mm screw attached to the extrusion's end. To print this idler successfully, ensure the "legs" are standing upright on the bed, while only the line-support makes contact with the bed. Required hardware includes: 2 pieces of 3mm shims (see accompanying STL file for each side of the bearing) 1 piece of a 625zz bearing 1 piece of an M5x25mm screw (or an M5x35mm screw will also work) 1 piece of an M5x10mm screw (you'll need to tap and thread the end hole in the 2020 for this) 1 piece of an M5 nut This idler is pictured with a stock Reach 3D endstop arm attached using an M3 screw. Fortunately, all the required hardware matches what's used in the standard idler, making it easy to swap out parts. You can even find the M5x10mm screw in your spare parts bag.
