I updated the old files and uploaded the new ones with defined cheekbones.Deprecated. New version takes precedence over old Instructions! Note! It's a reinterpretation of a reinterpretation... etc. The previous remix tidied up the .stl better than I could, allowing me to edit it in my editor (123d Design) to add the hole for the pencil. First file has the hole angled back, matching the angle of the face: his gaze is level with the pencil pointed upwards. Second file has the hole vertical with respect to the skull's base, causing him to gaze upwards. I'm going to print some of these out for the trick-or-treaters this year! Thanks a lot for cleaning that model up, mekmekmek. Instructions Important!----------------------- I was getting builds fail (with plain PLA; white PLA builds well) at the level where the teeth meet together. Not the teeth themselves, those come out fine, but at that level, back where the skull is, my filament isn't feeding well for a few layers; it finishes sometimes, but with that error in place, making removal in one piece difficult. I got one off without the lower part of the skull, but the jaw intact. Let me know in the comments if you're having a similar problem. I created SkullTopperLoPoly.stl to be more compact, but I changed the hole to a hexagonal prism. It doesn't build as clean inside for some reason, so leave that one alone; I will attempt to lower the poly count on the round-hole model. I get best results on this printing at 114% (14% increase). Inner diameters on deposition prints tend to get tight on inners; may need to be reamed out as well. Also, grab the zip file; the .stl files have an ungodly number of triangles (vertices, what have you) and are big. I might should turn the conical sections into hex-sided prisms.
