When working with compact models, my fingers often feel too large for comfort. So I created a fully printable hand vise to help alleviate this issue. Print all components using PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm or less. Support material is not required as the design allows for easy removal from the print bed. The threaded section closely matches M12, ensuring a secure fit right out of the printer. It's recommended to apply lubrication to the thread - I personally use candle wax for this purpose. If desired, you can further refine the thread using an M12 tap. However, this should be unnecessary as the design is optimized for smooth operation. To install the hinges, follow these simple steps: insert the hinge rivets and claws into their respective positions, then heat up a screwdriver until it reaches a pliable state. Carefully press the screwdriver onto the small end of each rivet, allowing them to melt securely in place.
