To create a printable filament spindle, I used measurements from the MK1 spindle for compatibility with 5lb rolls from Makerbot and Ultimachine. The PLA expansion is hoped to be common for successful model fitting. Lowe's sells Waxman Lazy Susan bearing (Model #: 4650699NN) at $4.50 US. For optimal strength, print 3 of the Bottom and Top Flange Large stl files, 2 of Lockbracket and Axl, and 1 each of Bottom and Top Flange Small. Assemble by snapping together Large Flanges' bottom with lock brackets, then cut an M3 bolt to fit Lazy Susan bearing's height clearance. Diagonal placement of two bolts should provide stability.
