Printable Check Valve

I decided to design a check valve as a temporary fix for one of my projects this summer. The result was impressive. The valve performed flawlessly in preventing water from flowing in one direction, and it only required the plunger not to be directly attached. To create the plunger, I printed out a mold and then filled that mold with silicone before letting it cure. I released the mold by cutting away at the seam using wire cutters.
