Printable Catamaran in human size

I've designed a sturdy catamaran that can carry two people, each weighing about 60 liters of water, which translates to 120 kilograms in total. You can use this vessel to drift down rivers or create unique additions as you see fit. I envisioned it as either a sailboat with a mast and sail or a pedal-powered boat with a 3D-printed gear system, chain drive, and more. The printable parts focus on the swimmers' design, consisting of several 150mm high segments that can be assembled together to form a cohesive unit. To ensure waterproofing, apply epoxy resin to the joints where the segments meet, then cover them with fiberglass mat for added durability. I chose wood as the primary material for the platform due to its strength and inability to produce 3D-printable components of this scale. However, I successfully printed a scaled-down model at 10% of the original size using my available printer capabilities. The resulting prototype floated remarkably well, demonstrating the catamaran's potential. I'd love to see this catamaran in action, so if you have access to a 3D printer capable of producing large parts, please give it a try. Just exercise caution during initial testing – a broken swimmer could compromise the vessel's buoyancy and pose a risk to safety.
