The hole diameter is precisely 2.2 mm, allowing the rod to fit snugly inside. **Critical Update** Following a thorough test, I discovered that the original fiber optic dot within the fibercase12.stl design was positioned too high. To address this issue, I created an updated version of the case, utilizing the fibercase12lowbase.stl file with improved infill settings. This revised design provides better results and is recommended for optimal performance. For those who prefer to use the original STL, it remains available; however, I strongly advise using the new low-base design (fibercase12lowbase.stl) for the best possible outcome.
