This is a tool designed to aid in sculpting cables, pipes, or tentacles. This a a version of my existing set with a larger base plate and guides but the textures themselves are the same scale, so you can now make larger tentacles at the same detail level! Where the smaller set are 100mm by 100mm these are double that are 200mmx200mm! Simply print 2 plates, roll a sausage of your preferred modelling clay or putty, put it between the two textured surfaces of the plates (texture running in the same direction) and slide the top plate back and forth in the direction of the texture, applying gentle even pressure. There are 9 different plate designs, each with a different texture. Scale your prints as required. Print orientation is key to avoid warping! Do not print flat on the plate if printing on an SLA printer. There is also a file for a guide rail. These can be positioned along the side or on the diagonal of the plate to ensure your plates are aligned. Experiment with different orientations for different effects.
