Printable Bass - Ukulele size!

The neck is designed for printing in two separate sections! This bass guitar is heavily inspired by the Kala Ubass and is almost entirely printable, except for critical mechanical components that require a more traditional approach. To achieve proper intonation and playability, I opted to incorporate a Fender-style bridge into this design. The strings used are standard ThunderGut models, which can be seen in the accompanying photos alongside a strategically placed hole in the bottom plate intended for use with a Fishmann Presys Blend pickup system. For optimal performance with larger strings, original Ubass mechanics are preferred. Kala's own brand of Ubass tuners, listed below, come highly recommended but are unfortunately quite expensive: https://kalabrand.com/collections/u-bass-parts/products/tuner-u-bass-hipshot-right You can hear the sound quality in action through this recording: https://soundcloud.com/david-bjorklund-810661191 As with any design, there's always room for improvement. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and may result in modifications to this object to make it even better.
