The original 2D artwork, "Escher-Style Tessellating Lizard" by seanmichaelragan, inspired this 3D rendition. To enhance its sharp, angular appearance, the design was transformed into a 3D model. The blue version requires support during printing, while the yellow and green "Flat Bottom" variant does not. Both versions feature a slight negative offset to ensure seamless interlocking in printed form. An update on April 4, 2015, added EscherLizard3D_FlatBottom_FlatTail.stl for improved printing of scaled-down versions with a flat tail. Simply print and enjoy!
