The UK coin 50p (pee or pence) has a lot of [commemorative designs](https://www.royalmint.com/discover/uk-coins/coin-design-and-specifications/fifty-pence-coin/ "title") for important events, that makes it quite collecable. This design is intended to hold those coins in a print tray for easy display - less of a ballancing act, especially if the bottom of a design is on a point rather than flat! This holder is aimed at the smaller,newer coin, minted from September 1997 onwards.
