Print-rite DIY Printer X belt clearance fix
thingiverse
I love tinkering with the "X" belt to stop it rubbing against the metal tubes under my bed, so I decided to design and install a solution. It's just a small bracket that positions the belt as low as possible to avoid any friction. The fix works perfectly on my printer, aside from the required extras like the bracket, which is paired with a pair of small bearings, I used 624ZZ but you can swap them out for something similar you have lying around. I replaced the original idler screw with a longer one that's 5mm in diameter and added a 4mm screw for the new bearings.
