Print-Rite Capacitive / inductive sensor holder
thingiverse
Here is a little piece to hold a 12mm sensor for the bed auto-level. My version uses a capacitive sensor, which is a game-changer. To install it, simply remove the original brass thing and swap it out with this one - no screws required. Be careful though, as the Y axis won't be able to reach its full limit once the sensor is in place (check the pictures for more info). I'm thinking of creating a remix for the Z axis holder that adds a subtle curve to give the sensor a bit more room on the Y axis. Print Settings: Printer: Print-Rite DIY Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: Your choice (between 10 and 30%) Notes: Yes, it looks like a WC but trust me, it gets the job done and is super easy to print. Print it upside down just like in the STL file. How I Designed This: I designed this little piece using Tinkercad.
