The kit provides several key benefits including excellent cooling performance, quick swap of the hot end, very easy adjustment of the nozzle distance to the build plate, and a robust design. The conversion kit is sourced from https://f3-innovator.de/anycubic_4max_bowden_umbau. There are two versions of the fan hood available: Fan_Hood_R1.stl features a donut shape and requires a layer height of 0.1mm or better, while Fan_Hood_Flat_Top can be printed with a layer height of up to 0.3mm. To assemble the kit, follow these print instructions: Print Fan_Hood using either Fan_Hood_R1.stl at 0.1 or 0.05mm layer height, or Fan_Hood_Flat_Top at 0.2 or 0.3mm layer height. Use a 0.4mm nozzle and support material (PLA also works). Next, print Fan_Plate using a 0.2 or 0.3mm layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle with support material required (PLA also works). Then, print Manifold at a 0.2mm layer height and use a 0.4mm nozzle with filament that has high glass transition temperature, such as ASA, ABS or PETG. Finally, print Kabelhalter.stl using the same settings as Fan_Plate.
