Frustrated by faulty snap connections? Layer adhesion is crucial for most designs, or you risk printing them with a multitude of supports and ending up with tolerances that are completely off track. Determined to find a solution to the problem of constantly falling cables, I took matters into my own hands and designed a print-optimized version specifically for thicker cords. While it may not be a stunning work of art, this design is remarkably robust and has been thoroughly tested. To get the best results, print with supports for the upper lip, and make sure to place the flat part of the design on the printing bed when slicing your model. I've also included the open SCAD file, so feel free to modify it as needed. For example, you could easily adjust the design to accommodate different cable diameters.
