To achieve great prints, specify your machine's unique details such as filament diameter, nozzle diameter, and drive gear diameter. Next, input your desired printing speed and resolution (feed rate and layer height) in the provided spreadsheet. This file is compatible with Open Office, which can be downloaded for free from http://www.openoffice.org/. For optimal results, duplicate your current default profile (RepG24 or later) according to your filament size and setup. Lastly, copy the calculated values back into Skeinforge and print away! Unpolished MK6 reversal calculations are also available, although they're still a work in progress. The spreadsheet includes instructions for both working with Skeinforge and general calculations, inspired by Dave Durant's work at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5310.
