I had an old axial fan lying around from an ASUS motherboard I was throwing away, so I decided to repurpose it into a material cooler for my 3D printer's print bed. After some trial and error with multiple CAD programs, this is what I came up with. The nozzle end turned out a bit narrower than I had hoped, but it still prints just fine. Print Settings: Rafts: Completely Ignored Supports: Disregarded Resolution: Set at 0.1mm Infill: Slic3r infills the model at 20% Notes: I ended up printing my own material cooler in 0.3mm as my printer didn't come equipped with a layer cooling system at the time, so the fastest way to prevent the extruded plastic from curling or re-melting was to print it as quickly as possible.
