Our Maker Club carefully crafted this 3D printer kit from the ground up. Build Instructions can be found at https://sites.google.com/a/mrwatt.ca/print-it-forward/ Maker Club CTV Interview showcases our students learning about technology through hands-on experience, making their own 3D printers and donating kits to other schools - printing it forward. We aimed to create a machine that's simple to build yet reliable. By integrating practical learning into the classroom, we connect math, science, and technology in a way that builds relationships with other schools and districts. We've spent over a year working on this project, helping numerous schools along the way. Initially, we shared our design on Youmagine about a year ago: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/printrbot-labs-kit This project started as a variation of the original Printrbot and evolved into something new. The latest iteration utilizes hardware spacing from the Printrbot Play, with updated clearances to ensure smooth printing on various 3D printers. We've had a blast working on this project - we hope you will too! Demo Print: Printrbot Learn Site: http://learn.printrbot.com/2016/05/19/print-it-forward/
