Print in Z produces excellent printing plates that work wonderfully for the PrintrBot Simple printer equipped with a heated bed. To prevent the print plate from curling up or sliding around during use, a custom-designed clip is provided that fits snugly between the print tray and the Printrbot base. The full-length version of this clip will accommodate most of the length on the open side of the printer plate, allowing for secure placement. I employ two regular clips placed on the inner side of the print tray along with one full-length clip positioned on the outer side to ensure everything remains in place during operation. This design was originally intended for the Print-in-Z plate designed specifically for the Printrbot Simple printer, but modifications may be required when using newer plates due to their increased thickness. While PLA does print effectively, its strength is somewhat compromised in my opinion.
