<p>This Print-in-Place model of a the famous Japanese offroader Suzuki Jimny is my second Print-in-Place vehicle with working suspension! The wheels spin too!</p><p>The only thing you have to do after printing is to snip off a few tiny pillars that prevent the axle casings from fusing with the wheel axles during printing and you are off to traverse the wilderness!</p><p>If you wish to scale it down, I wouldn't go below 60% since then the supporting bits are thinner than the nozzle can print. There are two versions: a normal one and a one with weaker springs. The one with weakened springs is intended for scaled up versions, where the springs can get pretty stiff quite quickly.</p><p>Despite the limitations of designing a vehicle with interior and working suspension and wheel mechanisms, I was able to preserve all the differentiating and iconic features of the vehicle. There are some long bridges that could become a problem if you decide to scale the model up, but otherwise, it's quite an easy model to print.
