Print in place slider and slats
thingiverse
I love the original version of this. It's a little snug when it's first printed but once it's broken in it works better than the ones in my car. My only complaint I had was the slider would keep popping off. Just like in my real car...hmmm. Well since broodro0ster was kind enough to include the Fusion files it was a simple fix. This is just a quick remix of the slider and blades to turn them into a print in place. I just closed the top of the slider to lock the blades in place. I opened the diameter of the hole to 2.5mm to give a little extra space. I also opened up the top of the gap to give enough clearance blades to go flat. I know this means reprinting the whole thing if a part breaks. But it doesn't take long to print and use little filament. I have uploaded the stl and included the remixed Fusion 360 file. I also included the cura file I used for my printer. Use at your own risk. The printer started life as a Tronxy X5SA but not much of the original remains. I rendered the image in in fusion and just for fun I set the front of the middle blade and the back of the front blade to mirror finish.
