Print in Place Shooting Aircraft
prusaprinters
Print in place, real shooting, crossbow plane. Little planes as ammo. Tension is build in, pushing the sides or pushing one side and the other side on the table. You can also pull back the trigger ring. Pull the lash at the back and that's it.Shoots about 8m with PLA and 10m in PETG (more flexible). Shoots even better with round side of ammo to the trigger.TIP: Load and unload the tension of the arms a few times to make them easy and supple. Optional smoothing of the ammunition lane can be done with slicer top layer Ironing or afterwards with a file. Some butter on the tension "arms" give extra supple effect. This design was a personal restriction model like print in place, most fit A1 mini/Prusa mini, real shooting. I had a lot of fun (and frustration) designing this! 5 walls/perimeters. 0.2 layer height, 25% infill. No first layer expansion (first layer width the same as default layer width).
