Print In Place Quick-Change Toilet Paper / Paper Towel Holder
pinshape
Print a toilet paper or paper towel holder in place with this DIY project. I designed it after years of frustration with household members not replacing the new roll after finishing one, leaving it on top of the roller or behind the toilet for others to handle. The hinge prints in place, so simply print it and work the hinge free. You'll need two wall mount plates, one for each arm, a couple of drywall screws, and anchors to install it. My holder is printed with PETG using a .6 nozzle and .3 layer heights, but you can use a .4 nozzle and .2 layer heights instead. If you already have a toilet paper roll holder in place, consider using the wide version as it covers existing screw holes. I added an extra wide wall mount since tolerances were loose; you might want to do the same if your wall mount feels too loose.
