Tested print on a vertical orientation, hinges on the bottom with some custom supports in cura for the curved side, the overhanging part doesn't have any clearance issue. As shown in picture the pencil slot should snugly fit a faber castell pencil (only ones that I have), not tested with other pencils but the slot size is the only one I found that is just right in this case. There are 2 files, for 12 cm (as shown in pic) and 14 cm long.
